Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B wins top award at Amelia Island

Tuesday 14th March 2017
One of the two top awards at the 2017 Amelia Island Concours has been presented to the 1939 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider. From the collection of A. Dano Davis of Jacksonville, Florida it won Concours de Sport. This Spider is one of the most desirable sports cars to own, penned by Touring, only twelve were produced with only seven with long (Lungo) chassis. This car was raced in San Paulo in 1949 and 1950 and then disappeared from the public eye for 40 years prior to it's restoration.

We are a little biased but we think it is quite possibly the most handsome motor car ever.
