First London Classic Car Show at London Excel

Sunday 11th January 2015
London's Excel Centre opened it's doors to the inaugural London Classic Car Show from Friday 9th to Sunday the 11th January. Housed in one large hall was an array of classic cars, mainly on display by dealers, intermingled with a host of specialist suppliers and restoration specialists, vying for custom.

With a different feel to the established national classic car show at Birmingham NEC, he show was mainly focused on dealers selling cars. Unlike Birmingham it did not have the numerous car clubs and enthusiasts promoting their favoured marques. The USP of the London show was the inclusion of the 'Grand Avenue' running down the centre of the hall enabling the gathered crowds to see cars in motion, albeit at up to 5 mph!

Our 'Car of the Show' was the beautiful seal grey Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 owned by Paul Gregory of a Hampshire. See our separate news article for details of this special car.

Being in our capital city, we are sure that this show will grow and grow over the coming years. With great communication, if you didn't go this year make sure you do next to ensure it continues to develop and grow.
