SIlverstone Auctions achieved a sale price of £85,938 at their Race Retro auction for an ultra low kilometre Alfa Romeo SZ on Saturday 21st February 2015.

The rare Alfa Romeo SZ was sold to its first owner in the Netherlands in 1991 and then subsequently purchased by the second owner for his private collection, the car was never registered. Presented in, red with a tan leather interior, Silverstone described it as new.

Sold with the original point of sale invoice, tools, leather book pack containing all the original books, and even the over mats, still in their polythene bag, it was described as a true ‘time-capsule' car.

This sale is one of a continuous string of results that shows the rising costs and safe investment value of classic Alfa Romeos.
