Alfa Romeos ever popular in Paris at Articurial and Bonhams

Retromobile in Paris was even busier than last year with the usual glittering array of classic cars from around the world, this event really marks the opening of the season each year.

With a number of major auction houses holding sales in Paris during the show, results have been strong with Articurial in particular reporting a 20% + increase in sale values. The highlight of the week in Paris was Articurials record breaking €32.1m sale of a Ferrari 335 By Scaglietti to an American collector represented in the sale room.

Moving on to Alfa Romeos, some strong results were achieved on a mix of cars from the marque, showing their ever popular demand by enthusiasts and collectors alike. The highlights of these were as follows -

Articurial Lot 120 - Alfa Romeo 1600 Zagato 1972, estimated €50 - €70,000 sold for €73,904 - Condition - Average. To see lot click here
